Covid-19 Policy Statement for The Elizabethan
Stay Alert – Control the Virus – Save Lives
Since the go-ahead to re-open Anne and I have been busy preparing to welcome you all back to The Elizabethan in the “New Normal“. Having taken into account the Government’s guidelines we have implemented some changes in order to reassure you that our priority is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of Customers and all our Employees.
All members of our team have been trained accordingly and the new measures are designed to minimise any change in the level of service that we have prided ourselves in for the last 18 years without compromising safety.
Our menus have been condensed whilst we adapt to new procedures and working practices. Throughout the Pandemic the Government’s Guidance has evolved and as this is likely to continue over the coming weeks/months and we will be keeping up to date with future recommendations and adapting our new way of operating as and when necessary.
There is also a copy of our updated Risk assessment to include COVID -19. This will give you a good insight into some of the changes we have had to make in order for us to re-open our doors in an environment that is as safe as possible.
Before your arrival we strongly recommend that you call us to avoid disappointment and you should also know the following:
IF YOU FEEL ILL OR HAVE ANY OF THE SYMPTOMS ASSOCIATED WITH
CORONA VIRUS PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE HOME
STAY AT HOME AND FOLLOW THE GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES
The layout of the Elizabethan means that there are certain areas which create a pinch point thus making social distancing very difficult to maintain. Please give way to anyone on coming in through these tighter spaces (i.e. the walkway from the car park to entranceway). Patience, courtesy and a good common sense approach with other customers make a safer environment for you all to enjoy a visit to our pub.
On your Arrival
Please use the sanitising Station on entering the building
Inside – a member of our Team will show you to your table and table service will be for both Food and Drinks so just sit back relax and we will do everything for you. Please note only 2 households on any 1 table and only max of 6 people, please do not move tables.
Outside – please wait to be allocated your table and as above we will do the rest. Please note only 2 households on any 1 table and only a maximum of 6 people, please do not move tables
Toilet Facilities – we are operating a one in one out system so please be courteous and patient.
After the events of the past few months and all the subsequent challenges we have faced in reopening our business as safely as possible Anne and I acknowledge that solutions can be found in difficult situations with understanding and respectfulness and we ask that this be applied towards us and our employees.
By entering The Elizabethan you will be agreeing to adhere to the above guidelines.
Nick Anne and the Team
